Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why, who else sees it, and how to have it removed.
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This website introduces our construction and housing work, accepts project and partner inquiries, and provides a separate client and staff portal. This page explains the information collected and how it is used.
Who we are
Nation Home Builders is the party responsible for the information described below. Our registered address and license number are provided in writing with every proposal, and on request through the contact form.
What we collect
The public contact form supports residential, partner/development and vendor/trade inquiries. When you submit it we receive whatever you have typed into these fields:
- Your name and email address, which are required
- Your phone number, if you provide it
- The location of your project, if you provide it
- The project type, budget range, ideal start date and whether you have drawings
- The message you write and your consent to be contacted
- Optional property ZIP code and high-level financing status
- Partner organization, role, partner type, opportunity type, geography, estimated homes or lots and timeframe
- Vendor business name, trade, geography, credential category, high-level insurance status, experience and website
That is the whole list. We do not ask for and do not want financial details, identification numbers, or anything about your household beyond what you volunteer in the message. Please do not send us documents containing sensitive personal information through the form — if we need paperwork during a project, we will tell you how to send it securely.
What is collected automatically
The public marketing pages do not use marketing cookies or third-party behavioral analytics. The client and staff portal uses authentication cookies for sign-in. Form submissions are stored in the inquiry system and may also be sent to the office by email. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — the requested page, a timestamp, the browser user agent and the IP address the request came from — which is ordinary for any web server and is used for security and for keeping the site running. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
Why we use it
To reply to you, to prepare an estimate or a proposal, and to keep a record of the inquiry so that if you call back in six months we know what we discussed. If you become a client, the same contact details are used to administer the project and, afterwards, to handle warranty service. That is the extent of it. We do not add inquiries to a marketing list, we do not send newsletters, and we do not call people who did not ask us to.
Who else sees it
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it with other builders, lenders, realtors or lead-generation companies. A small number of service providers necessarily handle it in order for the site and our email to work:
- Website hosting
- Vercel Inc. serves this site and keeps the standard request logs described above.
- Email delivery
- Resend transmits the contact form submission to our inbox. The contents of your message pass through their systems in the course of that delivery.
- Business email
- Our own email provider stores the message once it arrives, in the same way it stores any other mail we receive.
- Web fonts
- Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request. No account or cookie is involved.
- Photography
- Some images on this site are served from Unsplash. As with fonts, your browser requests them directly from that service.
- Analytics
- None is currently in use. If we ever add a visitor-analytics tool we will name it on this page before it goes live, and we will choose one that does not require cookies or personal tracking.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim. That has not happened and we do not expect it to.
How long we keep it
| Enquiries that do not become projects | Kept for 24 months, then deleted from our inbox and our inquiry log |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that become proposals | Kept for 3 years from the date of the proposal |
| Client project records | Kept for the life of the warranty and for as long as tax, insurance and licensing rules require afterwards |
| Server logs | Retained by our host on their standard schedule, which is a matter of weeks, not years |
How it is protected
The site is served over an encrypted connection, form submissions travel over that same encrypted connection, and access to our email and project records is limited to the staff who need it. No system is perfect and we will not pretend otherwise — but we hold very little about you, which is the most effective protection available.
Your rights
Whatever jurisdiction you are in, we will honor the following on request, at no charge:
- Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you
- Ask for a copy of it
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete it, which we will do unless a contract, warranty obligation or tax rule requires us to keep it
- Ask us to stop contacting you, which takes effect immediately
Send requests through the contact form, marked for the attention of privacy.
We answer within ten business days. We will not ask you why, and asking will never affect how we treat you as a client or a prospective one.
Children
This site is aimed at people commissioning construction work. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.
Photographs of completed work
We photograph the houses we build and publish some of them here and on social media. We do not publish a client’s name, street address or interior photographs without written permission, and permission can be withdrawn at any time — write to us and the images come down.
Links to other sites
Where we link out — to a manufacturer, a trade association or our own social profiles — those sites have their own policies and we are not responsible for them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. There is no mailing list to notify, so if this matters to you it is worth checking here before you send us anything.
Questions
Write to us through the contact form. A person reads every message. If something on this page is unclear, tell us and we will rewrite it.
